Update on Tax-deductible Donations:

  • If you itemize your deductions your contribution is more easily tax deductible.
  • Ask about the IRA Qualified Charitable Distribution

If your distribution goes directly to a qualified charity and you receives no benefit from it, you do not pay income tax on the distribution.

  • Talk with your Stock Broker about:

appreciated stock and other appreciated property as a gift to a non-profit and then let us know how we can assist with that.
